The 1310nm Polarization Maintaining In-Line Faraday Rotator is a PM fiber-pigtailed optical device designed to rotate the polarization state of input light by 45° at the output. It provides non-reciprocal polarization rotation in an in-line PM fiber configuration, making it suitable for polarization-maintaining optical systems that require stable polarization control and accurate axis alignment.
Built with PM1300 polarization maintaining fiber, this 1310nm PM in-line Faraday rotator features low insertion loss, high return loss, high extinction ratio, compact structure, and excellent environmental stability. The fiber slow axis is aligned to the connector key by default, enabling reliable integration into PM fiber assemblies and connectorized optical systems. It is widely used in fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, fiber optic sensing systems, fiber interferometers, and other 1310nm polarization-sensitive applications requiring stable 45° polarization rotation.
