The 1480nm Polarization Maintaining Faraday Rotator Mirror is a PM fiber-pigtailed reflective device designed for polarization-maintaining optical systems. It rotates the polarization state of the reflected light by 90° relative to the incident light through a 45° single-pass Faraday rotation, helping maintain stable polarization control and reduce polarization fluctuations caused by environmental disturbances in optical fibers.
Built with PM1550 polarization maintaining fiber, this 1480nm PM Faraday rotator mirror offers low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, compact structure, and reliable long-term stability. The fiber slow axis is aligned to the connector key by default, making it suitable for integration into PM fiber systems. It is widely used in fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, fiber optic sensing systems, fiber interferometers, and other polarization-sensitive applications requiring stable reflection and polarization control.
