1550nm Single Mode In-Line Fixed Fiber Optic Attenuator
The FIRSOL 1550nm Single Mode In-Line Fixed Fiber Optic Attenuator is a passive optical component designed to provide stable and precise optical power attenuation in single-mode fiber optic systems. Operating at a center wavelength of 1550nm with a ±20nm wavelength range, it offers selectable fixed attenuation values from 1 to 20 dB, low polarization dependent loss (PDL) of ≤0.2 dB, and high return loss of ≥50 dB. Featuring an epoxy-free optical path, SMF-28e fiber, and a compact Ø3.0 × 54mm package, this fixed optical attenuator supports up to 500mW of continuous-wave optical power, ensuring reliable performance in demanding optical applications. It is available with bare fiber pigtails for fusion splicing or optional LC, SC, FC, and ST connectors for flexible installation. The 1550nm in-line fixed fiber optic attenuator is widely used in optical power control and equalization, telecommunication networks, fiber optic sensing, and optical communication systems.
