20nm Single Mode 1x2 CWDM Filter
The Firsol 20nm Single Mode 1x2 CWDM Filter is a three-port wavelength-selective device designed to add or drop a specific CWDM channel in single-mode fiber systems. Based on thin-film filter (TFF) technology, it supports standard CWDM wavelengths from 1270 nm to 1610 nm with 20 nm channel spacing and a wide ≥13 nm passband. The filter delivers low insertion loss, high channel isolation, low polarization-dependent loss, and stable optical performance. It uses SMF-28e fiber and is available with selectable pigtail lengths, fiber protection options, and LC, SC, FC, or ST connectors, making it suitable for CWDM networks, telecommunications, line monitoring, and cellular applications.

FAQ
- Q: What pass channel wavelengths are available?
- A: The filter supports standard CWDM channel wavelengths from 1270 nm to 1610 nm with 20 nm channel spacing, including 1270, 1290, 1310, 1330 nm and other standard CWDM wavelengths.
- Q: Does “20nm” refer to the passband width?
- A: No. The 20 nm value refers to the spacing between adjacent CWDM center wavelengths. The channel passband of this filter is at least 13 nm at −0.5 dB.
Questions & Answers
Can this CWDM filter be used for both multiplexing and demultiplexing?
Yes. The device can be used to separate a selected CWDM wavelength from a multi-wavelength signal or to combine the selected wavelength with other wavelengths into a common fiber.
