980nm 1x2 Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter
Firsol 980nm 1x2 Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter is a passive fiber optic component designed to split a single optical signal into two orthogonally polarized outputs or combine two orthogonally polarized input signals into one output fiber. Operating at a center wavelength of 980nm with a ±20nm operating wavelength range, it offers low insertion loss of ≤0.8dB, a high extinction ratio of ≥22dB, return loss of ≥50dB, and directivity of ≥50dB. CW optical power options from 0.5W to 10W are available for standard and high-power optical systems. Ports 1 and 2 use polarization-maintaining fiber, while Port 3 can be configured with single-mode fiber or PM fiber. Its stable polarization performance and reliable construction make it suitable for 980nm fiber lasers, fiber optic amplifiers, optical sensing systems, coherent optical systems, and other polarization-maintaining fiber applications.
