ITU Grid DFB 14-Pin Butterfly Laser Diodes

The ITU Grid DFB 14-Pin Butterfly Laser Diodes are fiber-coupled, narrow-linewidth laser sources designed for DWDM transmission, fiber-optic sensing, and precision test and measurement applications. Available at selectable ITU-grid wavelengths from 1270 to 1650 nm, the series provides a typical spectral linewidth of 3 MHz, a side-mode suppression ratio of at least 40 dB, and optical isolation of at least 30 dB for stable CW operation. Each device is housed in a hermetically sealed 14-pin butterfly package integrating a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), thermistor, monitor photodiode, and optical isolator for precise temperature regulation, output monitoring, and reduced sensitivity to back reflections. SM or PM fiber pigtails, customized output powers, pigtail lengths, and connector configurations are available.
