The 1480nm Single Mode Polarization Insensitive Optical Isolator is a passive optical device designed to allow forward light transmission while effectively blocking back reflections. It is optimized for operation at 1480 nm within a ±20 nm wavelength range, making it suitable for fiber amplifier pumping and telecom applications.
This isolator features a polarization insensitive design, ensuring stable performance regardless of input polarization variations in standard single mode fiber systems. It offers low insertion loss (as low as 0.5–0.6 dB), high isolation up to 55 dB (dual stage), and high return loss (≥50 dB), providing reliable protection for laser sources and improving overall system stability.
Available in single stage and dual stage configurations, it supports multiple power levels up to 5 W, making it suitable for both standard and high-power applications.
