1550nm Polarization Maintaining Fiber Patch Cable is designed to transmit linearly polarized light while maintaining a stable polarization state with low insertion loss and high extinction ratio. Built with PM1550 polarization maintaining fiber, this 1550nm PM fiber patch cable provides an insertion loss of ≤0.5 dB and an extinction ratio of ≥23 dB, making it suitable for polarization-sensitive optical systems and precision fiber optic applications.
The cable supports slow-axis, fast-axis, or both-axis configurations, with the slow axis aligned to the connector key by default. A wide range of connector options, including FC/UPC, FC/APC, LC/UPC, LC/APC, SC/UPC, SC/APC, ST and E2000 connectors, can be provided to meet different system requirements. This 1550nm polarization maintaining patch cord is commonly used in fiber optic sensors, fiber amplifiers, optical communications, interferometers, fiber optic gyroscopes, and other polarization-sensitive applications.
