The Firsol 1x8 Bare Fiber PLC Splitter is a compact passive optical component designed to evenly divide one optical input signal into eight output signals. Manufactured using silica-based planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides low insertion loss, low polarization-dependent loss, excellent channel-to-channel uniformity, and reliable performance across the 1260-1650 nm operating wavelength range. The splitter uses G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fiber and supports optical power up to 500 mW. With an insertion loss of ≤10.7 dB, loss uniformity of ≤0.8 dB, and PDL of ≤0.2 dB, it is suitable for PON, FTTH, CATV, telecommunications networks, optical signal distribution systems, and compact fiber optic modules.
