Custom OS2 Single Mode Simplex LC/SC/FC/ST/E2000 Armored Fiber Patch Cable
The Firsol Custom OS2 Single Mode Simplex Armored Fiber Patch Cable is designed for reliable optical connections in environments requiring greater mechanical protection than standard fiber patch cables. It uses OS2 9/125 μm single-mode fiber and incorporates a flexible metal armor layer, typically a stainless steel tube, to improve resistance to crushing, bending, pulling, accidental impact, and rodent damage while retaining the flexibility required for routing and installation.
Designed for operation at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, this armored patch cable provides insertion loss of ≤0.3 dB and return loss of ≥50 dB for UPC connections or ≥60 dB for APC connections. It is available with LC, SC, FC, ST, and E2000 connectors and can be configured with matching or hybrid connector combinations. The simplex cable can also be customized by cable length, connector type, polishing type, jacket material, cable color, pulling eye, and other specifications. Standard jacket options include PVC, LSZH, and OFNP, with a standard cable diameter of 3.0 mm.
It is suitable for telecommunications networks, CATV, FTTH, LAN, optical transmission systems, data centers, industrial environments, equipment rooms, and laboratory applications requiring durable and stable single-mode fiber connections.
