1480nm Single Mode 3 Ports Optical Circulator
The 1480nm Single Mode 3 Ports Optical Circulator is a passive, polarization-insensitive, nonreciprocal device designed to route light from Port 1 to Port 2 and from Port 2 to Port 3. With an operating wavelength range of 1480 ± 30 nm, it provides low insertion loss of ≤0.8 dB, isolation of ≥40 dB, return loss of ≥50 dB, and polarization-dependent loss of ≤0.15 dB, enabling efficient separation of forward- and backward-propagating signals.
Built with SMF-28e fiber, the circulator integrates easily into standard single-mode fiber systems and is available with maximum CW power options of 0.5 W, 1 W, or 5 W. It is well suited for 1480 nm pump routing in erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs), bidirectional pumping systems, FBG-based optical systems, fiber sensing, and test and measurement applications. Pigtail length, fiber protection, and connector type can be configured to meet specific system and installation requirements.
