The Firsol 1x2 Plug-In PLC Splitter is a compact single-mode passive optical device designed to evenly divide one input optical signal into two output channels. Manufactured using silica-based planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides low insertion loss, low polarization-dependent loss, excellent channel uniformity, and stable optical performance across a wide operating wavelength range.

Operating from 1260 to 1650 nm with G.657.A1 fiber, the splitter features insertion loss of ≤4.0 dB, loss uniformity of ≤0.4 dB, PDL of ≤0.2 dB, return loss of ≥50 dB, and directivity of ≥55 dB. Its plug-in package enables convenient installation and reliable deployment in FTTH, PON, CATV, telecommunications networks, and optical signal distribution systems. The unit supports up to 500 mW optical power and operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +85°C.
