The Firsol 2x4 Plug-In PLC Splitter is a single-mode passive optical component designed for reliable optical signal distribution between two input ports and four output ports. Manufactured using silica-based planar lightwave circuit technology, it provides low insertion loss, low polarization-dependent loss, excellent channel uniformity, and stable performance over a broad wavelength range. Its compact plug-in module design enables organized installation, convenient replacement, and efficient maintenance in fiber optic distribution systems.

Operating from 1260 to 1650 nm with G.657.A1 bend-insensitive fiber, the splitter features insertion loss of ≤7.6 dB, loss uniformity of ≤1.0 dB, PDL of ≤0.2 dB, return loss of ≥50 dB, and directivity of ≥55 dB. It supports optical power up to 500 mW and is suitable for FTTH and FTTX systems, PON networks, CATV links, telecommunications networks, and optical signal distribution applications.
